Anyone know if Brodeur is wearing his old 29 tonight? It’s on the back plate of his mask. Can you imagine how much that jersey would be worth?As a true fan of black and orange penguin jerseys design like all of us here, I’m wondering if anyone has come to the same thought as me — we just love seeing new jerseys for the sake of new jerseys.I agree with Dave. I will always prefer the dark green over the black, but I also feel that the Devils can still use black and go with the original look. Use the red helmets full-time, as Dave had mentioned, but also have red yokes with black and white trimming on the whites and white trimming around the black yokes on the reds. Also, put the piping back on the pants. A true Devils look.even if the new jerseys are old jerseys like New Jersey’s tonight! I remember seeing those green and reds come into Winnipeg as a kid and thinking how great they’d look if the green was black. So, now that we’ve seen the black all these years we are excited to see the green return. I know it’s all about the money grab with these jerseys, but I’m all for it if it means the NHL looks like it should again. it’s not a typical shade of green which is cool. It’s almost a really dark teal, a little bluer than the Sharks’ teal. The atlanta thrashers also wore green during their pre-game skate last night. And the team just announced that these jerseys are coming back another dozen or so times in 2010-11 as a third jersey. The Devils are probably happy to keep this a one-time deal, but imagine if they went a little further. Maybe at some point teams like this will see that the 1980s was the pinnacle decade for the hockey sweater. They were bright, colorful and easily identifiable. That got me thinking.This photo was taken in 1984 and the 1991-92 season was the last time we would see those nhl jerseys cheap on the ice together. Now, 20 years later, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that we could actually see it again.That being said, while the Predators’ shade looks like a very “minor league” color, nice to see green back on the ice. Makes a much better jersey than Reebok

I can get past the cheap authentic nhl hockey jerseys because of all the money these teams have raised.I certainly hope the Canucks get rid of the Agency font numerals and go back to the traditional block-style. Reebok has phased out the use of the Jofa brand on its hockey equipment, in favour of its core hockey and Rbk brands.Block-style numerals are a lot easier to see from far away and a green border around the numerals would look even better. but the pink ice? it’s down to the fact that all those players that have green gloves on the Russian NT play for a NHL team called Salavat Yulaev Ufa, who have predominantly green jerseys and all players on that team wear green gloves. Head coach Vyacheslav Bykov also is the head coach of the team. I can’t look past how awful that ice looks. Its so overboards and gaudy, What’s up with the Walpole Express jersey having the Providence Bruins logo? Are they affiliated with the Boston Bruins somehow? They are a junior league team. many of the leagues that sponsor pink in the rink events have their refs wear sale hockey cheap jerseys for the game and/or month. These ref jerseys are usually auctioned by the leagues’ officials organizations and typically get impressive numbers. Probably because they are more rare. Teams should stop with the pink jerseys. I can see having a pink ribbon on a shoulder or something but this stuff is a little over the top for me. I do like how the numbers fit on the shoulder yoke. The captaincy patches straddles the chest and shoulder yoke, and it looks good. Also a patch overlays the lower waist stripe and the elbow stripes. I’m used to keeping everything partitioned, but those jerseys look sharp.

Earlier, when I said it was similar to the Sharks’ I was speaking in general terms so as to draw attention to the large number of San Jose players on the team. I know there is another one that looks exactly like the one the sedins used to use just with rbk branding but this one looks almost identical to Teemu’s famillier Jofa just minor changes and Reebok branding. Pretty odd but cool. Nike has made a product far superior to my best Black bruins Milan Lucic Jersey. When is there a chance for Nike to bid on the NHL jersey contract ? Reebok just isn’t doing a good job for the players nor the fans as far as I can tell. I help out at a cresting shop and we have had to do all kinds of emergency cresting for the teams playing in the World Juniors, not to mention the ridiculous number of Eberle jerseys we’ve made!I’m pretty sure the NHL players with green gloves were wearing their home clubs gloves instead of switching to new ones. Most of what you mentioned, I didn’t happen to notice, but what I did notice was the numerous players wearing vintage looking gloves, Rick Nash for Team Canada is just one of the many. There are obvious reasons for the Canucks to use this particular font being that the city is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. The numbers along with the “Vancouver” wording, and green and blue colours on the Canucks sweaters are strongly associated with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic brand. They cost almost $200 a piece wholesale! Most interestingly, every single authentic jersey is white to start and dyed the colour it needs to be! If you were to see an authentic Canada jersey up close, you might see a little bit of red bleed into the white stripes! Remember the dark red Team Canada jerseys based on the Canada Cup jerseys at the Juniors in ’09? With the bizarre differing letter/number fonts? Those stripes on the front had quite a bit of bleed into the white; it’s hard for them to do unusual custom gerbe jerseys cheap like this. All the replicas used heat-sealed stripes.

The biggest rivalry I know of, knowing a few Caps fans from my time living in central Virginia, is Philadelphia, and they were just in a WC as well. NY Rangers are out because they will presumably be hosting a WC soon. So we’ll go to the Southeast division – a great chance to have some warm-weather teams represented who wouldn’t otherwise get a chance. I would rule out Florida, only because I would love to see them play in a WC hosted at Mile High Stadium.
